Happy New Year! 2017 has come and gone and as I sit here and reflect on all the highs and lows of the year, one of my most fun endeavors was beginning my journey with Champagne Colored Glasses. As CCG approaches its one year anniversary, I thought this would be as good a time as ever, to reflect on my top ten posts from 2017. Scroll down to see which was my all time favorite this year! Enjoy!
10. Ravenswood and the Color Block Skirt
One of my favorite location and provably my favorite skirt, this post was written back in April 2017. To read more on this post, click the title above.
The most HILARIOUS family pictures to date! I will never forget our time on Baker Beach. This will be a story I will always laugh at, regardless of how insanely uncomfortable we all were in the moment. Post written in September 2017.
This skirt and hat are two of my favorite purchases done in 2017. I think I wore that skirt at least twice a week for a month. This post was shot in Sycamore Grove in Livermore which is a great place to walk and hike all year round.
7. Holidays in San Francisco with Talbots
This post meant so much to me because it was an awesome partnership post with Talbots and it was the perfect weekend with my husband in the city. This weekend will always have a special place in my heart. We had so much fun.
6. Cherry Picking in Brentwood
I love that we live so close to an area that has some type of fruit or vegetable that you can pick year round. This Summer, as a family, we went cherry picking. We came home and made cherry pies and cherry tarts. My husband was really proud of these pictures, Ha! If you asked him which post was his favorite, I would put money on it that it was this one.
How could you not love this super American Festive look for the 4th of July? The boots just made this look and I was so happy with the outcome.
A castle winery nestled in the rolling hills of Napa Valley. Neil and I had so much fun exploring this place and drinking their sparking red wine. Absolutely delicious!
I think the reason why this look ranks #3 for me is because I use it for most of my profile pictures on social media. Therefore, I have an emotional attachment to it annnnnnndddd don’t get me started on these fabulous earrings. I have them in 4 colors!
2. Random Fun Facts All About Me
What a tough choice, but this salmon colored midi dress came in a close second for the top spot. Easily one of my favorite posts of all time. I LOVE that I live so close to a variety of different wineries full of pretty scenery. This year I plan to show you even more of this beautiful place I call home.
1. Palm Spring Part 1, Holiday House
There are so many reasons why this post is my favorite for 2017. It was the first trip away from the kids after my surgeries in 2016. Getting time alone with your spouse I feel is not just important but a necessity to a healthy marriage. We had the best time and stayed in the most adorable hotel ever. Remember, I have linked all of the original posts. Just click on the title!
What is your favorite post? I totally want to know! Here’s to a happy and healthy 2018! I can’t wait for you to see all of the special collars I have in the mix this year.
This is a sponsored post, however, all thoughts and opinions are my own. Did you …
I’m sorry for such a long break in between posts! I have been, yet again, …
It’s that time of year where I can wear white pants again 🙌🏻🤣 Yay for Spring…. ...
Always sad leaving our favorite camping spot…we’ve been bringing the kids here 2-3 times a year for the last 5 years and it never gets old. Sure, we could bring them to SoCal, where it’s warmer and packed with a crap ton of people. However, we much prefer the cooler weather (helps with my POTS), rocky cliffs, less people and you travel through the redwood forest (which looks like a storybook). We love it up here and fantasize about moving somewhere like this once Nicky graduates. See you in June Westport…. ...
In my happy place for a long weekend….Comment COAST and I’ll send the link for this cute sweater (comes in East Coast too)!

I just binge watched Renovation Aloha and now I NEED another trip to Hawaii. It doesn’t look like it’s in the cards for us this year with Emma going to Boston for singing (we are tagging along for the last week). Buuuutttt, if we were to go……Which is your favorite and why? Big Island or Kauai? We’ve already been to Oahu and Maui and I love each of them for different reasons. PS, I painted all my doors in the house blue on a whim and I think I love them 💙 ...
