Fall Fashion for Women, Hats Are Here to Stay
Last week on CCG, I did a quick post on my favorite earrings for Fall. I wanted to follow up with a new post this week sharing with you all of my favorite Fall fashion for women must-haves, HATS!
Once the weather starts to cool down and the leaves begin to change into an array of Autumnal colors , I pull out all my hats to wear with sweaters and boots. Although it’s currently 85 degrees out as I write this, a girl can hope for cooler days soon. Most Fall women’s hats I have rounded up are under $50 and as low as $15!
If you follow me you see that I am a sucker for straw hats in the Spring and Summer. When it comes to Fall fashion for women and Winter fashion trends, I have a slight obsession with berets and wool women’s hats. One thing I love about the beret, is that you can find them in a variety of colors and at outstanding prices; some as low as $15! I have quite literally collected every color imaginable over the last few years and there isn’t a Fall season that goes by where I am not seen wearing them. I love to match them with my Winter coats as well during those colder months coming up too. This past weekend it snowed here in the foothills and now today it’s going to be 80…. Today will be spent gardening. You can repeat this tip multiple times on the same bouquet to get maximum use out of your fresh blooms! Simply, cut a small portion off the bottom of the stem, dip in ALUM (found in the spice section of the grocery store) and stick in cold water. I promise you, this trick works. SAVE AND SHARE THIS RECIPE! This festive #stpatricksday recipe is the perfect lunch/snack for everyone! Being the Irish gal that I am, I like to make fun recipes for the kids and this one is s favorite.
•puff pastry sheets
•corned beef (or you can use pastrami)
•Dijon mustard
•Swiss cheese
•clover cookie cutter
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Use your cookie cutter on the puff pastry. Add Dijon mustard, corned beef and Swiss cheese to half the clovers. Put the remaining puff pastry on top. Use a fork to put down the sides and seal the puff pastry. Then, brush egg wash over them. These will bake for approximately 20 min. Trust me…..these are super easy to make and soooo yummy! #puffpastry

SAVE AND SHARE MY MOST VIEWED RECIPE ! This is one of my favorite and most watched recipes and for good reason! My Ham and Cheese Croissant Bake is SOOOO easy to make and perfect for brunch! This can also be frozen and eaten later! Don’t take my word for it….make it and let me know how fast it was devoured.
•4 large croissants
•12-16 oz of cubed ham
•6 oz of shredded gruyere cheese
•6 oz of shredded cheddar cheese
•1/2 cup chopped chives
•6 eggs
•1 cup half and half
•1 tsp. honey
•1 tsp. Dijon mustard
•salt and pepper
Preheat your oven to 375. In a baking dish (spray with non stick spray) add in croissants, ham, cheese and chives. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, half and half, honey, mustard and salt and pepper. Pour the egg mixture over the bake and press down with a fork. Cover with foil and bake for approximately 50 min. This is such a great family recipe and feeds a good amount of people.
