Silk Floral Dress

Well the Holidays are in full swing! Both trees are decorated and I did the outside lights yesterday. We just got home from our Disneyland trip this week and I need a vacation from our vacation! Although it was a blast, I am definitely ready to relax and have a quiet Christmas here at home (well after my Nutcracker performances). I feel like the Holidays come and go too quickly and sometimes its important to slow down and take it all in.

Like Mother, Like Daughter

This post is a little out of the ordinary for my blog. It’s not about pretty dresses or where the best sales are. Although, I love talking about all of those things! I was supposed to write about pajamas this week. I’m shrugging my shoulders as I type that. Next week, guys.

As some of you know, last year I had major spine surgery for severe scoliosis (83 degree S curve among other issues). I suffered a variety of complications and it’s been one heck of a year to say the least. My spine is now fused fourteen levels with twenty five screws and two metals rods that go basically the entire length of my spine. In the midst of all of that, my daughter Emma, who was seven at the time, was diagnosed with scoliosis.

My Favorite Holiday Champagne Cocktail Recipes

Who doesn’t love a cold bubbly glass of champagne during the Holidays? Or every Saturday for that matter? Are you raising your emoji hand? It’s no surprise that my favorite alcoholic beverage is champagne so let’s take it up a notch and talk about my favorite champagne cocktail recipes. Champagne was the perfect solution. I have since broadened my tasting palette to include whites and reds but my love for champagne will never be matched! This Holiday season, I decided to list six easy champagne cocktail recipes for the next six weeks of the Holiday fun.

Houndstooth Mini Skirt

Let the Thanksgiving preparations begin! I type this as my husband is hard at work getting all of my Christmas decorations out from the garage. Every year he complains about how many tubs I have and every year I add more to the mix. Sorry Neil, what can I say, I love the holidays and I love to buy things!
