Wente Vineyards

After what has seemed like ages, my husband and I were finally able to leave our children with Nana and Pop Pop and spend the afternoon at Wente Vineyards. It was a much needed day to unwind, reconnect and relax together one on one. This marks the first time we have been able to leave them since my surgery, after one failed attempt at a movie night a couple months ago.

I am taking you back to the day I visited Ravenswood Historical Site in Livermore, Ca. My post, here, gives you a glimpse at the beautiful scenery outside and around the property. While this look, was shot for the most part indoors in the main house, which shows off how old and nostalgic the interior really is. I love the intricate tile details and wooden fireplace. It really does feel like you are escaping to a different time; a time more relaxing and peaceful.

A couple of Sunday’s ago, we took the kids to downtown Pleasanton to walk around and grab breakfast. Pleasanton, like Livermore, has an adorable downtown with plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. Unfortunately for us, our favorite breakfast place was completely packed and waiting an hour was just not going to happen when you have 4 hungry kids with you. We ended up walking around and snapping some photos and drove back to Livemore to eat with Grandma and Grandpa.

With Springtime finally feeling like it’s here, I am able to pull out all of my fun dresses and accessories. It felt like it was never going to come after all of the rain we have seen this year in California. One thing’s for sure is the rain has made everything beautifully green and the flowers are starting to bloom. This is one of my favorite times of the year.
