Cute Summer Scarves and 5 Ways To Wear Them

One thing I love to do is accessorize my outfits with hats, scarves, cute bags, etc. Summer is the perfect time to play up your style with fun accessories. I leave a floppy straw hat in my car at all times during these hot months to throw on while running errands or bring the kids to swim lessons. Sunglasses are always within reach whenever I am out and about. Besides hats and sunnies, I am very fond of scarves. There are so many ways you can use an adorable little scarf. Today on CCG, I have picked out my favorite cute scarves for Summer and give you ideas on just how to wear them!

Wear It In Your Hair

I love love love wearing a scarf in my hair. Whether it’s tied in a bow on top, knotted at the bottom or even in a pony tail, it’s something super easy that can elevate any outfit. Often, I mix prints that compliment each other. In today’s look, I wore it knotted to the side. You can also check out this post, here, for more inspiration.

Wear It Around Your Neck

This is another great option to add a pop of color or accent to almost any look. Wear them with dresses, skirts or even with a chambray button down. The possibilities are endless. I wear the same dainty scarves tied around my neck as I do in my hair. However, if you are looking for something a little thicker to wear for that cooler Summer night, linen scarves are amazing, lightweight and the perfect compliment. Tie It To Your Handbag

During Summer, I reach for one of my straw bags almost daily. Tying a scarf to the handle is a fabulous way to add a little something extra. You can see how I did that in this post, here.

Wear It On Your Shoulders

Perfect for those cooler nights or over a spaghetti strap top, wearing a scarf over your shoulders is extremely chic. They look amazing draped, knotted or wrapped!

Wear It Like A Belt

What a cute way to accessorize a pair of jeans or pants! Wear an all white look and add that fun colorful scarf to the belt loops to help accentuate your waist.
