Tropical Bird Dress
Does anyone ever think there aren’t enough hours in the day or days in the week to get everything you need done? I constantly feel like I am a hamster on a wheel continuously moving without much to show for it. Or at least that is how it seems….As I sit here writing, I am surrounded by piles and piles of laundry that need folding, a disorganized desk that was organized last week, and a mountain of work I need to do for my ballet school’s performances coming up. These are just a few things that somehow need to get done today amidst everything else including playing chauffeur to four demanding customers, aka, my kids. Baseball practice, singing, piano lessons and band recitals round off my day today. I’ve got my 32 oz. iced coffee by my side.
If you haven’t noticed already, I love a feminine midi dress or skirt and the more colorful the better. This piece by Marc Jacobs is no exception. You can literally wear any color shoes or earrings with it. The fabric is thick yet breathable and the pockets! Yes, it has pockets!!! When I wear this, I feel like I should be on some tropical island sipping a piña colada. I guess I will just have to settle for my couch with a coffee today. Once the youngest is a tad older, I hope we can do more traveling with or without them.
The earrings I am wearing come in an insane amount of colors! I have 3 pair already and they go with any style look. I am wearing them in a black and white stripe (here).

I hope everyone has an awesome Mother’s Day filled with love and family. I am always so indecisive and still haven’t decided what I want to do that day. A trip to the Zoo or the Aquarium may be in order followed by a meal with anything seafood. Yes, a lobster roll sounds pretty perfect right about now. Happy Friday Loves!

This past weekend it snowed here in the foothills and now today it’s going to be 80…. Today will be spent gardening. SAVE AND SHARE THIS RECIPE! This festive #stpatricksday recipe is the perfect lunch/snack for everyone! Being the Irish gal that I am, I like to make fun recipes for the kids and this one is s favorite.
•puff pastry sheets
•corned beef (or you can use pastrami)
•Dijon mustard
•Swiss cheese
•clover cookie cutter
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Use your cookie cutter on the puff pastry. Add Dijon mustard, corned beef and Swiss cheese to half the clovers. Put the remaining puff pastry on top. Use a fork to put down the sides and seal the puff pastry. Then, brush egg wash over them. These will bake for approximately 20 min. Trust me…..these are super easy to make and soooo yummy! #puffpastry

SAVE AND SHARE MY MOST VIEWED RECIPE ! This is one of my favorite and most watched recipes and for good reason! My Ham and Cheese Croissant Bake is SOOOO easy to make and perfect for brunch! This can also be frozen and eaten later! Don’t take my word for it….make it and let me know how fast it was devoured.
•4 large croissants
•12-16 oz of cubed ham
•6 oz of shredded gruyere cheese
•6 oz of shredded cheddar cheese
•1/2 cup chopped chives
•6 eggs
•1 cup half and half
•1 tsp. honey
•1 tsp. Dijon mustard
•salt and pepper
Preheat your oven to 375. In a baking dish (spray with non stick spray) add in croissants, ham, cheese and chives. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, half and half, honey, mustard and salt and pepper. Pour the egg mixture over the bake and press down with a fork. Cover with foil and bake for approximately 50 min. This is such a great family recipe and feeds a good amount of people.
