Quick, Easy and Oh So Delicious Peach Crumble Recipe

Yum, Yum, Yum, Yum Yum, Yummy, Yum, Yum! This is what I heard from all four kids and my husband as we devoured the peach crumbles I made on Sunday. You don’t want to miss out on this post, so read on for my quick, easy and oh so delicious peach crumble recipe!

Last week, my good friend and her kids met us at the peach orchards in Brentwood to do some peach picking. We picked cherries as well, but I’ll save that for my cherry pie recipe coming up on the blog soon too! Peaches are my favorite fruit. When in season, I eat two a day. So, peach picking was the perfect activity to take the kids on and we picked ten pounds in the process.

I have made peach pies, peach cobblers, peach tarts etc. but the one that I love most out of all my recipes is my peach crumble! Check out the peach crumble recipe below and if you decide to make it, please come back and let me know if you love it as much as we do!

Ingredients For Peach Crumble Recipe:

For the peaches

  • 12 medium ripe peaches peeled and sliced- they don’t have to be perfect slices! (you can also use canned peaches if you want it easier)
  • 1/2 stick of melted butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 4 9.5 oz Ceramic baking bowls (similar here)

For the Crumble topping

  • 1 stick of room temperature butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt ( yes, just a smidge)

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. (I used our amazing Cuisinart Toast Oven!) Make the filling by combining everything except the butter in a bowl and toss to fully coat all the peaches. If you are using canned peaches, make sure you drain them well before placing in the bowl.
  • Pour the melted butter into the bottom of each bowl coating the bottom lightly
  • Dump in your peach mixture over the butter and bake in over for 10 minutes. Now it’s time for the topping!

  • In a mixer or using a hand mixer whip up the butter and brown sugar on medium until its nice and fluffy. Add in flour and salt with YOUR HANDS and mix it together lightly so it turns into a bunch of small clumps. If it’s too doughy, add more flour until break it apart into clumps.
  • Take the peaches from the oven and scatter the topping on the top of the peaches.
  • Bake for 40 minutes and after 30 minutes, loosely cover each bowl with foil for remaining time.
  • Let cool for 20 minutes
  • Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top and you are golden!

You can’t go wrong with this recipe! I promise you will want seconds and even thirds; it’s that tasty! Please try it out and let me know how much you love it! I chose to put them in individual ramekins so that the kids wouldn’t fight over who got more AND because it’s just too darn cute! You can also easily switch out peaches and use blueberries, apples (which I have done) or anything else that you fancy!

Bon Appetit!
