Plaid Wool Pants

My friend Megan and I, recently met for coffee at our favorite local French bakery, Casse Croûte in downtown Livermore. It’s so nice to get out with other women and socialize with someone over the age of two. It’s not something I get to do that often, but what a great escape it is when I can. Our monthly chats are something I so look forward to. It’s like therapy and we can vent about whatever we want. Megan also takes some of the pictures for my blog and I teach her two adorable daughters ballet.

Five years ago when they first opened, I spent every single morning with my insanely large pregnant belly scarfing down chocolate croissants and pecan buns. I am lucky I only gained fifty pounds with Will. Once I was done with my croissants, I would order a sandwich to go as well as a loaf of their fresh baked bread. Everything I have tried there is authentic and delicious.

One thing I LOVE is they do large orders for Holidays. A few years back, I ordered the most delicious apple tart for Thanksgiving dessert. This post has now reminded me to call in and place an order stat since Thanksgiving is just around the corner! I can’t even believe that it’s November already. Usually I start Christmas shopping in August and gradually purchase items since we have four kids, but I am so behind this year and have only bought the boys Guardians of the Galaxy underwear for their stocking. Oh well…..I guess while I’m eating my tart, I can do some online black Friday shopping at the same time! Ha!

These pants by Sea New York are just divine. I love the high waist, wide leg style and the cropped cuffed hem is so adorable with boots or flats. I have worn these with a navy sweater or cardigan as well. They are super comfortable and will be on repeat all through Winter. I have linked my looked below.

I have a busy month ahead of me. Not only with the holidays, but we are going as a family to Disneyland and I also have my ballet school’s Nutcracker performances to plan and finish. Luckly the kids have a break from sports for a couple months, so I can get a handle on all these “to-do’s”. Is it too soon to get out Christmas decor? I’m joking, I’m joking……well maybe…..

you really made this outfit look cute! It’s not something I’d run to because wide leg plaid pants scare me but you really pulled it off well! and it’s not too early for Christmas decor! I’m waiting until the day after Thanksgiving because it’s tradition but trust me, I’m READY for the Christmas decor lol
