My Favorite Eyelet Pieces For Summer
We ALL know how crazy over gingham I am. Well, another thing I love to wear is any type of eyelet. It’s so feminine and classic, in my opinion, and totally screams Summer. It’s something else I just can’t help but purchase anytime I find a piece that calls to me. Eyelet dresses, skirts, tops, you name it, I have it. I also love to mix and match fabrics and prints together and eyelet is definitely a fabric you will see me using quite a bit of. So read on, to see my favorite eyelet pieces to wear this Summer.
Visiting one of my favorite places in my hometown of Livermore, Ravenswood is a gorgeous historical site surrounded by acres of vineyards. Whenever I get a chance to make a trip there, I can’t help but fall in love with it over and over again. The charming classic white house and lush landscaping make this place so perfect for morning walks and relaxing. Most notably, the wrap around porch is my favorite place to sit. They have an ice cream social here once per month as well, which I’m sure is fantastic. It’s just a little piece of Heaven out here in Livermore.
Ok….now let’s get into all things eyelet! This dress is from a new line called Gal Meets Glam that recently launched in April. I woke up at the butt crack of dawn to order this eyelet piece and a few others when they hit the online shop. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the dresses and since April, have purchased quite a few more. This one in particular is my favorite and also comes in white. There is something about an eyelet midi dress that makes for a classic feminine look, which is totally my style. The sleeves have the most adorable tie and I love the fit and flare style. The only thing I would have asked for to make this absolute perfection, would have been pockets! I am a pocket girl through and through.

This past weekend it snowed here in the foothills and now today it’s going to be 80…. Today will be spent gardening. You can repeat this tip multiple times on the same bouquet to get maximum use out of your fresh blooms! SAVE AND SHARE THIS RECIPE! This festive #stpatricksday recipe is the perfect lunch/snack for everyone! Being the Irish gal that I am, I like to make fun recipes for the kids and this one is s favorite.
•puff pastry sheets
•corned beef (or you can use pastrami)
•Dijon mustard
•Swiss cheese
•clover cookie cutter
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Use your cookie cutter on the puff pastry. Add Dijon mustard, corned beef and Swiss cheese to half the clovers. Put the remaining puff pastry on top. Use a fork to put down the sides and seal the puff pastry. Then, brush egg wash over them. These will bake for approximately 20 min. Trust me…..these are super easy to make and soooo yummy! #puffpastry

SAVE AND SHARE MY MOST VIEWED RECIPE ! This is one of my favorite and most watched recipes and for good reason! My Ham and Cheese Croissant Bake is SOOOO easy to make and perfect for brunch! This can also be frozen and eaten later! Don’t take my word for it….make it and let me know how fast it was devoured.
•4 large croissants
•12-16 oz of cubed ham
•6 oz of shredded gruyere cheese
•6 oz of shredded cheddar cheese
•1/2 cup chopped chives
•6 eggs
•1 cup half and half
•1 tsp. honey
•1 tsp. Dijon mustard
•salt and pepper
Preheat your oven to 375. In a baking dish (spray with non stick spray) add in croissants, ham, cheese and chives. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, half and half, honey, mustard and salt and pepper. Pour the egg mixture over the bake and press down with a fork. Cover with foil and bake for approximately 50 min. This is such a great family recipe and feeds a good amount of people.
