How I Styled This Green Tweed Jacket
I don’t know about you, but green is and has always been my favorite color. Maybe it’s the Irish girl in me that has me gravitating towards all shades of this pretty hue and who doesn’t love a green tweed jacket? It didn’t even occur to me when putting this look together, that is was the perfect St. Patrick’s Day look. Today on CCG, check out how I styled this green tweed jacket.
Green Tweed Jacket
One thing I love about the transition from Winter to Spring is wearing colorful jackets to help pull a look together. When I came across this J. Crew jacket, I instantly fell and fell hard. Not only is the emerald color gorgeous, but the fit is perfect. I snagged this up on a 40% off sale day. This coat may not be available online on J. Crew, but lucky for you, I have found of few of these gems hiding online ready for the taking. Now isn’t that a St. Patrick’s Day sign, I think so!
I wore my favorite Levi’s overalls and a cute stripe tee to round off my ensemble. Hands down, my favorite pair of overalls ever. Before I bought these, I contemplated on whether a mom of 4 could pull off such a trend, and I am so glad that I didn’t listen to my 2 daughters, and bought them anyway! They are comfortable, they are reasonably priced and they are oh so cute! The beret, which I own in 6 different colors cost under $10! Can you believe it? Are you green with envy?
I hope everyone has a fun and safe St. Patrick’s Day. I am still mulling over what funny surprises to leave the kids on Saturday morning. When I was in elementary school, I was convinced I saw a leprechaun in the park and went back to that same spot year after year looking for him. Now as an adult, I get to see how excited my own children get when it comes to things like this. It’s so precious.

SAVE AND SHARE THIS RECIPE! Super easy and oh soooo good! These #pumpkinpie granola bites store perfectly in the fridge for an easy snack or treat! My kids LOVE them!
•3 cups quick oats
•3/4 cup pumpkin purée (NOT pumpkin pie mix)
•3/4 cup mini chocolate chips
•1/2 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
•1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract
•3/4 cup Grade A pure maple syrup
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together. Using your hands, firmly roll balls together. Then, put them in the refrigerator for 30 min to set. I’m telling you these are AMAZING. Try them and let me know! #recipereels #easyrecipes

SWIPE LEFT FOR A LAUGH I thought this deserved a permanent spot on my feed as proof I got @theeneil to do a couples massage while in #Maui complete with an outdoor soaking tub, shower and outdoor Hale for our massage. We went straight from Hawaii to Disneyland and when we got home from our 2 days at Disney and felt like we were 80, Neil asked if we could go get another couples massage. 🤣
Counting down until our next #Hawaii vacation. Last year was our first time visiting (we took the family to Oahu) and we loved it so much, @theeneil and I took a trip by ourselves to #Maui 🌊 Both islands have a completely different vibe but one thing’s for sure, they are both so beautiful. I took this photo of #blacksandbeach at Waiʻānapanapa State Park. We rented a bronco and drove the entire island. It was such a wonderful trip and we’re already trying to make plans for another vacay (still debating on whether to bring the kids or not 🤣).
We flew home last night, spent the night in our own bed and now we are currently driving to Disney with the kids. I’m going to need another vacation after this vacation. 🙈 Really loved our time in #Maui Already planning our next trip… 🤣

SAVE AND SHARE THIS DIY HACK! We turned an inexpensive wine fridge into a pricey Café Matte White appliance 🙌🏻 We have all Café appliances in our kitchen and I reeeaaalllly wanted a wine fridge. We took a look at the Cafe one and did a double take on the price! No way were we going to over $3k on what’s essentially a mini fridge 🙈 So, @theeneil and I brainstormed and decided to wing it with this #diy project. While Neil cut into the cabinets, I sanded and painted the door. We found that Sherwin Williams “Rock Candy” was an identical match. First, I actually used one coat of the Rustoleum appliance epoxy enamel and once that cured, I did a coat with a metal roller if the rock candy in satin (I chose satin because I didn’t want a high gloss coat since the other appliances are matte). I got the handle off eBay and Neil drilled new holes. You will have to get creative on how you install the handle since they use something you can’t even find at a hardware store. After a few trips to Home Depot, we got it figure out. Neil added some new trim to polish it off and it fits like a glove! All in all, we saved around $2500 with this DIY project and it looks AMAZING! #cafeappliances #winefridge
