How I Styled This Green Tweed Jacket
I don’t know about you, but green is and has always been my favorite color. Maybe it’s the Irish girl in me that has me gravitating towards all shades of this pretty hue and who doesn’t love a green tweed jacket? It didn’t even occur to me when putting this look together, that is was the perfect St. Patrick’s Day look. Today on CCG, check out how I styled this green tweed jacket.
Green Tweed Jacket
One thing I love about the transition from Winter to Spring is wearing colorful jackets to help pull a look together. When I came across this J. Crew jacket, I instantly fell and fell hard. Not only is the emerald color gorgeous, but the fit is perfect. I snagged this up on a 40% off sale day. This coat may not be available online on J. Crew, but lucky for you, I have found of few of these gems hiding online ready for the taking. Now isn’t that a St. Patrick’s Day sign, I think so!
I wore my favorite Levi’s overalls and a cute stripe tee to round off my ensemble. Hands down, my favorite pair of overalls ever. Before I bought these, I contemplated on whether a mom of 4 could pull off such a trend, and I am so glad that I didn’t listen to my 2 daughters, and bought them anyway! They are comfortable, they are reasonably priced and they are oh so cute! The beret, which I own in 6 different colors cost under $10! Can you believe it? Are you green with envy?
I hope everyone has a fun and safe St. Patrick’s Day. I am still mulling over what funny surprises to leave the kids on Saturday morning. When I was in elementary school, I was convinced I saw a leprechaun in the park and went back to that same spot year after year looking for him. Now as an adult, I get to see how excited my own children get when it comes to things like this. It’s so precious.
