TGIF! Am I right?! It’s been a busy past few weeks over here at the Wagner’s. The party decorations are still up from my daughters three day birthday extravaganza last weekend. Some balloons have migrated up into our 25 foot ceiling living room and who knows when those will come down. A Star Wars balloon lasted 7 months up on the ceiling last time for my son’s birthday and we took it down before it actually floated to the floor. It was almost a contest at that point to see how long it would last. This should be interesting.

This week, we have been running errands buying school supplies, school clothing, signing two up for soccer and one up for softball. I can’t believe three of the four will now be in school. After months of emails and phone calls to the district and Superintendent, they finally found a spot for Will in TK. For those of you who are Moms, you know what this is. He was 2 days shy of the cut off and they wouldn’t let him enroll. Mama bear came out with some determination and a lot of nagging, and we made it happen. I will admit, I wanted to cry a little after the good news. This means I will only have one at home during the day now. Where does the time go? I can’t even imagine what it will be like next year when Nicky goes to preschool and I have 3 hours to myself a few days a week. What ever shall I do?
Neil and I decided that we are going to Palm Springs for our anniversary in three weeks. I am SO excited! We have never been there and although it’s a long drive for just a weekend, I’m hoping my back can deal and won’t have an issue. Anyone have any suggestions on where to eat or any fun things to do? I’m sure the pool will be a must in 112 degree weather!
If you love this denim ruffle top, you should scoop it up quickly! I could only find one store that still carries it and it’s majorly on sale! If you are between sizes, I recommend sizing down one. It does have a slightly boxy fit but it’s cropped and works very well with all of my skirts. I have also worn this top with the skirt posted, here.
I adore this matching pinstripe linen skirt. I found a similar one that I linked below. Whenever I think of Summer, I think of lightweight linen pieces. I have a great gingham linen dress I wore wine tasting last weekend that will be up soon. You won’t want to miss that one. Who wouldn’t want to wine taste in an authentic Italian castle in the middle of Napa?
I hope everyone has an awesome weekend. If you would like details on these fabulous earrings, bag and sandals, they are all right below. This bag was around $60 and handmade. I also love the pretty detailed fabric lined inside.
