One thing I love to do is accessorize my outfits with hats, scarves, cute bags, etc. Summer is the perfect time to play up your style with fun accessories. I leave a floppy straw hat in my car at all times during these hot months to throw on while running errands or bring the kids to swim lessons. Sunglasses are always within reach whenever I am out and about. Besides hats and sunnies, I am very fond of scarves. There are so many ways you can use an adorable little scarf. Today on CCG, I have picked out my favorite cute scarves for Summer and give you ideas on just how to wear them!
This past weekend, we celebrated my daughter, Emma’s, birthday. Since we had back to back parties (friend party and then family), we opted for a low key BBQ with burgers and hot dogs. Whenever we BBQ, I always make my easy bean dip. It’s a huge favorite for all of our guests and I usually make more than one since it gets devoured so quickly! One thing I love to do, is spend a few minutes every couple days reading my favorite inspirational quotes to help me recharge, refresh and focus. This is something I began doing while in the hospital for the month following my spine surgery and I have continued to do this frequently since then. It has, I guess, become a routine for me and something that has really helped. I don’t know about you, but my favorite color to wear in Summer is white. It feels so clean and crisp and I can match basically any accessories I want with it. While I love to mix prints with white tops or pants, my favorite thing to wear is a white midi dress. Today on CCG, it’s all about those must have white dresses for Summer!
