A Taupe Suede Jacket
Last weekend, my husband, the kids and I went to the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco. Both our boys are on a huge dinosaur kick and so what better way to excite their little minds than see a huge T-Rex in the main lobby of the museum!
It was pouring rain and the parking situation was a mess but the look on their faces seeing that dinosaur was amazing. Since it was a long weekend, it seemed every family in the area decided it was a good day for the museum. I think on a day less busy, we would have been able to see so much more. Nevertheless, the kids had fun, and that’s all that mattered. This place has so much to see and explore. It has an aquarium, tide pools, a whole hall of animal exhibits, etc. They also have a 4 story rain forest, although the line was crazy and impossible for us to do that day. The boys picked T-Rex skeleton shirts that glow in the dark, while my girls opted for the gemstone jewelry. I was well behaved and didn’t buy myself anything although I saw this amazing engraved cheeseboard I needed to have. Insert laughing emoji.
We grabbed In-and-Out on the way home. It’s the one fast place to get burgers that all 6 of us can agree on. Love me some animal fries! It was a good day spent together as a family.
My husband thought I was crazy wearing this taupe suede jacket in the rain. Maybe I am, but it was too cute not to wear it. The umbrella did it’s job and kept it nice and dry. This jacket is on sale for 1/3 of the original price online! I paired it with jeans,a cute ivory blouse and flats.

ā¢Puff pastry
ā¢pesto (I love the Costco pesto!)
ā¢egg for egg wash over the twists
Make sure to put a good amount of pesto on the puff pastry. Twist and put on a non stick pan. Brush egg over the top to give it that golden color and bake for 12-15 min. Serve with marinara sauce and voilĆØ you have yourself a crowd pleasing #holidayappetizers Enjoy! #holidayrecipes

ā¢store bought frozen roll dough (thaw and let rise for 3 hours)
ā¢8 oz of brie
ā¢1/2 stick of melted butter
ā¢1 tsp minced garlic
ā¢1 tbsp Italian seasoning
ā¢fresh rosemary sprigs
ā¢fresh cranberries
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. On a piece to parchment paper and a cookie sheet, set your brie in the middle. Place the roll dough balls around your brie. Slather the rolls and Brie in the melted butter (mixed with the minced garlic). Sprinkle seasoning on top and bake for approx. 20 min. Add rose mark and cranberries as garnish once out to the oven. This is such a crowd pleaser and quick to make. Weāve also used fresh dough made by my hubby (heās the bread baker š¤£) and that works amazing too! Let me know how you like it! ā¢one package store bought puff pastry
ā¢mini brie
ā¢pumpkin butter
ā¢egg for egg wash
ā¢cooking twine
ā¢cinnamon sticks
Preheat oven to 375. These will bake for approximately 20-25 minutes. Cut #puffpastry into 10 equal squares, scoop a teaspoon of pumpkin butter on the puff pastry and add a mini brie on top. Close up the dough and use cooking twine to secure it. I tie it around 3-4 times. Brush egg wash over them and bake them for 20-25 min. Use cinnamon sticks for a stem! I have also used cream cheese and goat cheese instead of the Brie! Enjoy! #holidayappetizers #recipereel

ā¢3 cups quick oats
ā¢3/4 cup pumpkin purĆ©e (NOT pumpkin pie mix)
ā¢3/4 cup mini chocolate chips
ā¢1/2 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
ā¢1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract
ā¢3/4 cup Grade A pure maple syrup
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together. Using your hands, firmly roll balls together. Then, put them in the refrigerator for 30 min to set. Iām telling you these are AMAZING. Try them and let me know! #recipereels #easyrecipes

SWIPE LEFT FOR A LAUGH I thought this deserved a permanent spot on my feed as proof I got @theeneil to do a couples massage while in #Maui complete with an outdoor soaking tub, shower and outdoor Hale for our massage. We went straight from Hawaii to Disneyland and when we got home from our 2 days at Disney and felt like we were 80, Neil asked if we could go get another couples massage. š¤£
Counting down until our next #Hawaii vacation. Last year was our first time visiting (we took the family to Oahu) and we loved it so much, @theeneil and I took a trip by ourselves to #Maui š Both islands have a completely different vibe but one thingās for sure, they are both so beautiful. I took this photo of #blacksandbeach at WaiŹ»Änapanapa State Park. We rented a bronco and drove the entire island. It was such a wonderful trip and weāre already trying to make plans for another vacay (still debating on whether to bring the kids or not š¤£).
We flew home last night, spent the night in our own bed and now we are currently driving to Disney with the kids. Iām going to need another vacation after this vacation. š Really loved our time in #Maui Already planning our next tripā¦ š¤£
