A Ballerina Skirt For My Ballerina-Self

Dancing has been a major part of my life ever since I was able to walk. I dedicated most of my childhood training to become a professional ballerina. With all of my medical issues, that chapter had to close and teaching became my new outlet to continue to inspire and be apart of the dancing world. And although after surgery my dancing abilities are definitely limited, I am still a dancer through and through and that will never change.
While searching for the perfect tulle tutu skirt, I came across plenty that caught my eye, but for the quality and price this just couldn’t be beat. It also comes in a variety of colors. I paired it with a chambray top and silk scarf linked below and some pretty little pink ballerina flats.
We have had so much rain here in the Bay Area that the grass is this amazing shade of green and now the trees are beginning to blossom. Although I love the rain and we desperately needed it, I am looking for a pain free weather forecast for the entire week!

This past weekend it snowed here in the foothills and now today it’s going to be 80…. Today will be spent gardening. SAVE AND SHARE THIS RECIPE! This festive #stpatricksday recipe is the perfect lunch/snack for everyone! Being the Irish gal that I am, I like to make fun recipes for the kids and this one is s favorite.
•puff pastry sheets
•corned beef (or you can use pastrami)
•Dijon mustard
•Swiss cheese
•clover cookie cutter
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Use your cookie cutter on the puff pastry. Add Dijon mustard, corned beef and Swiss cheese to half the clovers. Put the remaining puff pastry on top. Use a fork to put down the sides and seal the puff pastry. Then, brush egg wash over them. These will bake for approximately 20 min. Trust me…..these are super easy to make and soooo yummy! #puffpastry

SAVE AND SHARE MY MOST VIEWED RECIPE ! This is one of my favorite and most watched recipes and for good reason! My Ham and Cheese Croissant Bake is SOOOO easy to make and perfect for brunch! This can also be frozen and eaten later! Don’t take my word for it….make it and let me know how fast it was devoured.
•4 large croissants
•12-16 oz of cubed ham
•6 oz of shredded gruyere cheese
•6 oz of shredded cheddar cheese
•1/2 cup chopped chives
•6 eggs
•1 cup half and half
•1 tsp. honey
•1 tsp. Dijon mustard
•salt and pepper
Preheat your oven to 375. In a baking dish (spray with non stick spray) add in croissants, ham, cheese and chives. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, half and half, honey, mustard and salt and pepper. Pour the egg mixture over the bake and press down with a fork. Cover with foil and bake for approximately 50 min. This is such a great family recipe and feeds a good amount of people. Been a little MIA the last couple weeks. It’s been jam packed with root canals, kids with pneumonia and double ear infections 😑. Spent yesterday at the Drs and then hospital for chest x-rays. In between that, Neil and I got away for a weekend to Las Vegas (my first time) and it was so fun and MUCH needed. I also loved that Neil planned it all this time (usually it’s me). He had shows and restaurant reservations all taken care of. It was a nice treat! Now, I’m dealing with getting all the germs out of this house and cleaning from top to bottom.
