Our Visit to The Riddler San Francisco

I love when Neil and I can get away for a few hours to explore a new part of San Francisco we haven’t yet been to. It’s especially fun when it’s just us and the theme of our trip is to visit a champagne bar! It’s incredible that being the champagne lover that I am, I have never actually been to a bar specifically for champagne. When I found The Riddler San Francisco Champagne Bar online, I instantly knew we must immediately go there, and fast. After all, it’s a champagne bar! So today on CCG, I share with you all about our day in the city and visit to The Riddler.

The Riddler, San Francisco

When visiting The Riddler San Francisco, it feels like you are transported to a little corner in Paris. I absolutely adored the black and white Parisian décor and the cute white tables that read, “Hello, Old Friend”. Boy, did I feel at home and The Riddler did not disappoint. Since it was lunch, we opted for white peach mimosas to start and their charcuterie board. Our server was awesome and helped us pick out a pretty rose champagne for our next drink. One thing I wish we had done was order some caviar. We were headed down to Union street where they have an adorable caviar bar, so we waited on that. Next time we take a trip to The Riddler , I plan to get the tater tot waffles with caviar. Yes, that is a thing! They also have a “Chambong” that I am equally interested in not only seeing but drinking. Any ladies want to get together? What a fun experience.

The Riddler, San Francisco

After we finished at The Riddler San Francisco, we decided to drive down the way to Union Street which is, hands down, one of my favorite places in San Francisco. There are so many unique shops and restaurants. A new favorite store of mine is Sweaty Betty. It’s a workout and ski wear line that has cute tongue and cheek slogans. My personal fav, “Will sweat for champagne.” The caviar bar was unfortunately closed so we went across the street and grabbed some pastries from La Boulangerie for the kids. On the way home, Neil and I stopped for dinner and had poké bowls. It was a short day trip, but much needed nonetheless.

I have an obsession with capes lately according to my husband. What I love about this one in particular is that I feel like even though it’s plaid, it goes with quite a few color combinations because the darker color can pass for either navy or black. It’s also from one of my favorite brands, Draper James. Reese Witherspoon is the inspiration behind Draper James and every one of her fun pieces adds a little southern belle to your closet. Not only are her pieces fun and unique, but the quality is outstanding as well. I just adore this cape and I know ya’ll will too!
