If you’ve been following over on my Instagram stories (Apriljwagner), you would have seen glimpses of the redesign of our master bedroom. I am so excited to share with you the finished product! I’ve linked all the items in the room and even have a few discount codes for you to use on your own items if you feel so inclined to purchase! And believe me, you will, haha!
We have a Sleep Number bed (which I love and helped me through surgery). I was so sick of the ugly dust ruffle we had to use with it. I also wasn’t a fan of the bed frame options they had. So, that’s what started this whole redesign….a dust ruffle…..Neil was thrilled for more projects (insert annoyed emoji). Once I partnered up with The Inside, the project was a go.
We decided to shiplap the wall for some texture and tie it in with our closet and bathroom (both have little accents of shiplap). You can check those posts out, HERE and HERE. We painted the shiplap “Extra White” by Sherwin Williams, and left the remainder of our walls an ivory color (Creamy by Sherwin Williams).
Originally, we had carpet in our room and last year, we installed Luxury Vinyl Planks by EverHome. You can see the change in this post, HERE. The color we used is called Napa Oak, and I adore it!
The Inside
The Inside by Havenly is a home furnishings brand that believes in the joy of decorating. They make furniture fun, with access to more design for more value. Think of them as your shortcut to a chic home, for every style and budget. They have a variety of fabrics to choose from and I highly suggest ordering some of their $1 swatches before purchasing a bigger ticket item, like a bed. Make sure to look at their detailed measurements as well if you are hoping to use a bed frame with an adjustable bed. The Modern Wingback Bed worked well with ours and I couldn’t be happier! Just need a fun patterned accent ottoman? The Inside has that too! You can check them out, HERE. Also, don’t forget to use code APRIL50 for $50 off your order!
Pepper Home
Pepper Home takes the confusion, and mark-up, out of custom drapery, pillows and wallpaper. They bring decor out of showrooms and into your home! Again, I chose a company that had an array of patterns and fabrics to choose from when picking our new custom drapes. I wanted something substantial that also went with my California Coastal theme and finally landed on the Sky Blue Velvet Curtains. I love that you can choose a custom length, add some additional design elements, like trim, and have them delivered so quickly!
Gray Malin
If you’ve stuck around to follow me thus far, you know how much I LOVE Gray Malin! My obsession for his fine art prints started when we bought our home 4 years ago and I came across one of his prints of Pebble Beach. It was the exact spot Neil proposed to me, so I had to have it! Literally, I can point to the patch of grass! It currently hangs in our powder room. From then on, I have acquired 7 MORE from various collections of destinations and I don’t plan on stopping!
I linked as many items as I could from our master bedroom below. I love when I receive comments on my blog posts. So please leave one if you feel like it! I’d love to hear what you think!
Also to note, I found the rug online for an amazing deal! It was 1/3 the price on various other brand name stores! And it doesn’t shed AT ALL! Such a great neutral rug!
Fun fact: Those canvas oil paintings in the corner are of Neil’s actual tuxedo and my wedding dress from our wedding!
