Methode Brigitte Kettner (MBK) Eye Rejuvenator (skin care)

I feel a little like a naughty child for not posting in 2 weeks. Neil and I went on our 10 year wedding anniversary vacation and then it’s been a struggle to get back into the swing of things again, especially with all the kids sports games and activities. It’s back to the grind, that’s for SURE. Anyhoo……one skin care product I have actually been dying to tell you about is the MBK Eye Rejuvenator. I have used it for two weeks and wanted to share with you all the details! So, today on CCG, let’s talk about skincare and this awesome MBK eye rejuvenator!
Now that I am in my……gasp….30’s, I really wish I had paid more attention to my skin in the past and sought our a great line of skin care. One area I am hoping to prevent from aging with the proper skin care is around my eyes. I want to minimize puffiness, sagging and fine lines that are developing and this MBK eye tool is helping me do just that!
The MBK eye rejuvenator uses microcurrent technology to help minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the eye area. Microcurrent is an age old technology now being used in the anti aging industry including top salons and spas across the country for facial contouring, toning and firming. It also helps the appearance of under-eye puffiness and sagging. Now, you can use this skincare technology in the comfort of your own home and on your own time!
Ms. Brigitte Kettner, a German biologist and skin care specialist, developed Methode Brigitte Kettner. They not only offer a plethora of handheld skincare devices but also a line of skin care products to use simultaneously with them.
I used the eye rejuvenator every other day in the morning for two weeks with their Eye Contour Serum, however, you can use whatever your preferred serum is with this device. I gently pat a few small dabs of serum onto my skin around my eyes (they have a pamphlet with instructions included) and then begin lightly and slowly massaging the skin around my eyes; focusing on the more wrinkled areas for longer. The device will beep when it’s time to switch eyes and shuts off after the second eye. I definitely noticed that my skin seemed more, “awake”. Does that make sense? It seemed more plump and radiant. I applied my daily face lotion immediately following using the device and applied make up shortly thereafter.

SAVE THIS RECIPE! These Ham and Gruyere Hand Pies are SO SIMPLE to make and DELICIOUS 🙌🏻 These make for a fun brunch/lunch idea and will be loved by all. You can also make in batches and reheat for later! You can even use that leftover ham from the holidays to make these too!
•preheat oven 400 (this will bake for 15-20 min)
•puff pastry cut into 12 equal sizes
•leftover Holiday ham for the win
•gruyere cheese (Swiss or brie work too)
•Dijon mustard
•egg brushes on the top
Make sure to use your fork around the edges to push the two pieces of pastry together for when it cooks. Cut a few small knife holes in the top to prevent bubbling. Enjoy! #handpie #puffpastry #puffpastryrecipes #forthoveofmeat

•mini muffin pan
•store bought puff pastry
•brie cheese
•cranberry sauce
•fresh rosemary
Preheat your oven to 425. Do not put these in until your oven is preheated! Place squares of puff pastry into the muffin pan, followed by cubes of brie cheese and a scoop of cranberry sauce. Bake for 10 min and add rosemary sprigs for garnish. It’s that easy!!! #easyrecipes #holidayrecipes

•1 pack of store bought puff pastry
•Nutella
•powdered sugar
Preheat the oven to 400. Roll out the puff pastry, spread a thin later of Nutella and add the second piece on top. Don’t forget to use the rolling pin to thin out the puff pastry. Use a cookie cutter to cut out the shapes and bake for 15 min. Sprinkle powdered sugar to the top.

•puff pastry cut into squares
•fig jam
•goat cheese (cream cheese if you aren’t a goat cheese fan)
•walnut pieces
•mini muffin pan
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray muffin tin with non stick spray and place one puff pastry square in each muffin area and push down. Add a teaspoon of goat cheese and add the fig jam on top. •Preheat oven to 400 (this will bake 12-15 min)
•Puff pastry
•pesto (I love the Costco pesto!)
•egg for egg wash over the twists
Make sure to put a good amount of pesto on the puff pastry. Twist and put on a non stick pan. Brush egg over the top to give it that golden color and bake for 12-15 min. Serve with marinara sauce and voilè you have yourself a crowd pleasing #holidayappetizers Enjoy! #holidayrecipes

Skin care is so important. I have been using face creams since my teens. I will be 60 (that really hurts!) at the end of the year. I am just starting to get wrinkles and probably could pass for 45. I love all the new tools they are coming out with and have quite a few that I regularly use. Keep up with your regime you look great!
