This is a sponsored post for BevMo and is for those 21+. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
One thing I love to do, is entertain! From picking out the color scheme and décor, to writing up a menu, I love every aspect of throwing a fun party (well, besides the cleaning up part). Neil and I smoke and grill all year round. However, with Summer quickly approaching, and having the perfect weather, why wouldn’t we throw a fun backyard bash for Memorial Day weekend? Am I right?! The one store I turn to when it comes to picking up all my party cocktail and snack needs is BevMo! Today on CCG, not only do I have an easy cocktail recipe to share with you to take your BBQ to the next level but I also list a variety of fabulous products that I guarantee you will want to scoop up for your next soiree.
When planning the perfect party, I want to make sure I have drink options for all my guests. BevMo carries just about anything you would need to please everyone! For our BBQ coming up, I chose to go with a traditional Moscow Mule for the cocktail being served. I was able to pick up all the ingredients at BevMo! which saves me time running around from store to store!
Moscow Mule Recipe
Despite it’s name and main ingredient, A Moscow Mule actually doesn’t hail from Russia. It’s an American cocktail that was rustled up in the 1940’s. Served in the signature copper mug, this cocktail is delicious and easy to make.
What You Need
Copper Mug
2 oz Tito’s Vodka
6 oz Bundaberg Ginger Beer
1/2 oz Lime Juice
Lime wedge
Red and White stripe Straws if you are feeling a little fancy!
Directions
Squeeze lime juice into copper mug
Add ice (I like to use tons of ice)
Pour in vodka
Fill up the mug with ginger beer
Garnish with a lime wedge and red straw and voila! Your drink is ready!
Every single item I used to make this fabulous drink was picked up at my local BevMo! Don’t have a BevMo! in your neighborhood? Did you know that BevMo! has online ordering and can ship directly to your door? How awesome is that?!
Along with my Moscow Mule ingredients, I also like to pick up an assortment of beer and wine. One thing I absolutely love about BevMo! is their “Buy one get one for 5 cents” sale. There are so many amazing wines to choose from and with this sale, I am able to stock up on all my favorites while also trying some new ones too. There are two in particular that I love for a Summer BBQ. Rocklin Ranch makes a fabulous chardonnay which has the most refreshing apple and citrus flavor perfect for an elegant dinner party but also equally amazing for a Summer BBQ. Another product I constantly reach for is a rosé to stock at all my parties. Unruly makes a delicious rosé that exudes an amazing blend of raspberries and floral accents. Neil and I were recently staying along the Mendocino coast and took the Unruly rosé with us. It was the perfect wine to sit out on our sun deck with, while we watched the waves crash into the rocky cliffs. Both Rocklin Ranch Chardonnay and Unruly Rosé are included in BevMo’s 5 cent sale!
Let BevMo! take the hassle out of planning and use them as your one stop shop for all your cocktail and beverage needs. I know I am this season!
Over the holidays, when Neil and I spent the weekend in San Francisco, we decided …
Who doesn’t love a cold bubbly glass of champagne during the Holidays? Or every Saturday …

I just binge watched Renovation Aloha and now I NEED another trip to Hawaii. It doesn’t look like it’s in the cards for us this year with Emma going to Boston for singing (we are tagging along for the last week). Buuuutttt, if we were to go……Which is your favorite and why? Big Island or Kauai? We’ve already been to Oahu and Maui and I love each of them for different reasons. PS, I painted all my doors in the house blue on a whim and I think I love them 💙 ...
