Summer is quickly coming to an end and my kids all go back to school in about a week (crazy I know)! My schedule, as a Mom of four, is about to get insanely busy again with work, sports, dance and school. Meal prepping and making recipes ahead of time is a must for me and helps free up my time for everything else! Today, I’m sharing my easy Taco Cup Recipe and showing how awesome it is to store all my ingredients in my Rubbermaid EasyFindlids.
Ingredients:
Preheat your oven to 365 degrees. The taco cups will bake for approximately 10 minutes.
Before you make your taco cups, cook your ground beef in a frying pan with taco seasoning. What’s great about this recipe is that you can cook your ground beef ahead of time and make the cups later. OR…..make the cups and store them without all the toppings and reheat at your convenience!
While your meat its cooking, get out your standard muffin pan (non stick preferred or use a little avocado oil), and add one wonton square to each muffin area. Scoop the ground beef into each wonton and then sprinkle with the shredded cheese. Bake for approximately 10 minutes and take them out of the oven. Add a dollop of sour cream, shredded lettuce and then the pico de gallo.
Why I use Rubbermaid
I immediately store them in my fabulous Rubbermaid EasyFindLids containers! EasyFindLids™ snap to bases and similarly sized lids, so you can always find them when you need them. Since they’re stackable, these Rubbermaid containers take up less space in my cabinet. That makes this Mama jump for joy! These make the perfect after school snack, quick lunch or even dinner!
EasyFindsLids storage containers are freezer safe, microwave safe and top-rack dishwasher safe! I also want to note they are BPA free. Woohoo!
I have the Rubbermaid EasyFindLids in a variety of sizes and I love the vented lids as well! These are not only perfect for storing my taco cups, but makes my life SO MUCH EASIER when I’m meal prepping for the week. Plus, when I’m entertaining and have a gazillion things to do, making these ahead of time and storing in my Rubbermaid takes some of the stress away when it comes to after school snacks and dinner! Did you know, one of the small sized containers can store a whole pound of ground beef?! My husband even uses the smaller sizes for salad dressing when he takes his lunch to work. There are a plethora of ways to use these babies! You can find these Rubbermaid products, HERE.
I hope you enjoy my Easy Taco Cup Recipe!
