This is a sponsored post for Mary Kay. However, all opinions and thoughts are my own.
Summer is upon us! With the changing season, I love to add pops of color to my outfits and accessories. A look is never complete without the finishing touch, make-up! I was beyond excited to get my hands on the Mary Kay Chromafusion Collection and Pro Palette which holds oodles of eyeshadows, highlighter, contour and blush! It’s a make-up fanatics dream come true. Read on to find out which shades are my favorite and how I use them!
I love buying large eyeshadow palettes, however I find sometimes it can be a little tricky. There always seems to be a color or two I just won’t use or is unnecessary. What I appreciate about the Mary Kay Pro Palette is how easy it is to customize shades and pick everything you actually love and want! The Mary Kay Pro Palette is a generously sized, sleek magnetic compact that stores all your lovely little individual shades, leaving you free to create a limitless color wardrobe! This palette also provides simple, yet professional organization and switching out shadows from season to season is a breeze.
My Mary Kay Pro Palette came with a mixture of both Chromafusion matte and shimmer eyeshadows as well as a highlighter, a contour shade and blush. Basically, everything you need to add some color into your make-up routine. They are buildable, blendable, and long lasting. I wore it literally all day, including ballet class, without having to touch up my eye make-up at all! Now, that is awesome!
Mary Kay Chromafusion Eyeshadow
The Mary Kay Chromafusion Matrix technology is an industry innovation that elevates pure color radiance while enabling all day endurance. Currently available in 33, yes 33, matte and shimmer shades, the eyeshadows glide on seamlessly, smooth and totally buildable for maximum color appeal! Eyeshadows are priced at $8, which is a steal for the quality and all shadows lock into the magnetic Pro Palette. To get my classic cat eye I so often wear, I used Moonstone on my lower lid, Espresso on the brow bone, and Rosy Nude for blush! I also LOVE the shade, Gold Status. It brings out more green in my eyes and gives me a fun pop!
Mary Kay Chromafusion Blush
I never go a day without a swipe of blush on my cheeks! Even on days I don’t feel like getting glammed up and don’t use foundation, I still use a little blush to give my complexion some color. The Mary Kay Chromafusion Blush comes in 10 amazing shades perfect for just about every skin skin tone. Not only are they long lasting and high impact color, each shade boasts a unique fusion of pure color and light reflecting pigments to deliver a natural looking radiance. All blush powders are sold separately and cost $14.
Mary Kay Chromafusion Highlighter and Contour
These pigment rich hues come in two highlighter and two contour shades in light and dark matte tones that blend with the skin flawlessly. They provide a healthy glow without setting into pores and fine lines. These products were ones I was most excited about! I use the highlighter on my cheekbones, a skinny strip down my nose and a T across my forehead and blend. I feel like I look 5-6 years younger, which makes me one happy camper! Both the highlighter and contour shades are $14 each and also fit perfectly in the Pro Palette which sells for $25.
How do I get my hands on the Mary Kay Pro Palette?
It’s simple! Visit MaryKay.com or contact your local Independent Beauty Consultant.
All in all, I am super impressed by the quality of the Mary Kay Chromafusion Collection and all the color choices they offer. The Pro Palette is such a space saver when all your favorite eyeshadows, blush, highlighter and contour shades are kept in one great compact. I also wanted to point out, I actually dropped the Pro Palette on MY CONCRETE DRIVEWAY and instantly my heart dropped into my stomach (I know, I know)! Luckily, none of the eyeshadows broke! I was amazed and so thankful! That sturdy palette protects them perfectly!

Mary Kay Chromafusion Collection
Wishing my room actually looked like this right now. It’s currently filled will piles of laundry waiting to be folded after our trip....
Disneyland 2026 🙌🏻 I made it ya’ll. Definitely sore, and fatigued and sleep deprived and the back pain is insane. But I did it. 🤣...
I debated jumping on the bandwagon to share my 2016 throwback. In all honesty, 2016 was the hardest year of my life. It’s something that I’m reminded of daily in this never ending cycle of chronic pain and illness. For those that are new here, in 2016 I underwent 3 surgeries within 4 days. My 14 level spine surgery consisted of 2 surgeries going through my back and side, and then I needed an emergency bowel resection 3 days later due to my colon twisting and flipping on itself. When I woke up from my spine surgery, I immediately moved my right foot and tried to then move my left. It turned out, they knicked my spinal cord and damaged it. I had no feeling in my left leg or foot. Didn’t know if I was moving it and it felt like nothing was there. I remember immediately panicking and because I still had a tube in my mouth, they gave me a paper to write down what was wrong. Drs came in and told my husband and I that they weren’t sure if I’d walk again and definitely sure I wouldn’t be dancing. I lost 25 lbs, a Picc line was put in to try and get me any nutrition. I threw up bile in bucket after bucket.
I didn’t see my kids for 3 1/2 weeks and then had to be moved to a nursing facility. Once home, I had nurses and PT that would come to our house because staying in that facility and not seeing my kids drove me insane (my youngest was only 17 months old). Neil had to shower me, and wipe my butt 🙈. I went through 18 months of PT pushing myself to prove them all wrong. When I think about the last 10 years (and 2016 in particular), it has been a nonstop uphill battle for me. During that same year, we learned that both our daughters would then be diagnosed with the same thing. This is why I keep pushing forward no matter how I feel mentally or physically. I need to show these kids that mama can handle it and I want them to remember how strong I’ve tried to be because some day they may be faced with this same decision. I played this song on repeat laying in the hospital.

I have an aunt who sold Mary Kay and Avon growing up,so I have fond memories of both of these brands, but Mary Kay always seemed a bit better in terms of quality.
The Chromafusion shadow sounds right up my alley-I’m an eye makeup hoarder! The blush sounds pretty lovely as well but you have me fixated only the eyeshadow!
Thank you for reminding me of a nostalgic brand that reminds me of when I was first getting into makeup and sitting around the table with the little books with my grandma and my aunt-I may need to revisit this brand.
Love your blog, btw! One of my favorites!

I have a friend that sells it and at first I thought it would be a high pressure sell situation but we actually had a lot of fun. I always have trouble picking out the right shades and end up with warmer browns which look great in the pan but odd on my fair pink undertone skin.

A family friend used to sell Mary Kay back in the day which my mom occasionally bought. I had no idea they were still going strong! I love customisable palettes coz it’s a real bummer buying a full set knowing good and well there’s a couple in there that’ll go to waste.
